If you are a Classical Indian Dancer and interested in performing for Yuva Bharati please get in touch with us. So far we have hosted Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Odissi performances. In future we would like to actively seek other forms such as Kathak, Mohiniattam etc.

The application deadline for 2011 performers is June 30, 2010. Yuva Bharati makes decision on applications and emails the acceptance letters by December 31st , 2010.

Application process is as follows. You need to send
- filled in questionnaire, (via email only, paper copy is not acceptable)
- a digital picture in dance costume (via email only, paper copy is not acceptable) and
- video clipping of recent performance. (preferably not more than a year old)
Note: We prefer that you provide a weblink to your dance video. In case you do not have any online video, you can send DVD or VHS tape via regular email. Length of the video must be not more than 10 minutes. It must be a solo performance of the applicant.

Here are a few things we are looking for in the applicants
- You are a Classical Indian Dancer.
- You have completed full lengthed solo debut performance.
- You are continuing to learn the danceform.
- You are a member of Yuva Bharati.

Here are a few criteria used in selection of candidates.

Yuva Bharati receives more applications than the number of available slots in an year. If you are not selected in a certain year, we encourage you to re-apply with an updated video clipping.
